Hands On Archaeology Workshop
An online workshop designed for the ages of 10-15. It is a one-of-a-kind workshop that introduces participants to the many facets of archaeology in general and the Harappan Civilisation in particular.
In the first edition, the workshop includes interactive sessions conducted by Mr. Arsh Ali, acknowledged and certified as India's youngest archaeologist, and Ms. Meenakshi Vashisth, a culture and heritage management professional with education and experience in the field of archaeology.
Our approach to this workshop is perfectly suited to a child’s natural curiosity and eagerness to roll up their sleeves and explore the world around them. What is archaeology? How does it help us reconstruct the past through the material remains of those who used to live hundreds and thousands of years ago? How do we recognise an archaeological mound when we are on a road trip with our parents? The idea is to discuss these simple queries regarding complex concepts in a fun and engaging way.
